# TheologAI

> TheologAI is a free, open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Bible study and theological research: Scripture, Greek and Hebrew, commentary, and historical primary sources.

Connect to https://mcp.theologai.xyz/mcp using Streamable HTTP. No TheologAI account, API key, OAuth, or payment is required. The website at https://theologai.xyz/ is documentation, not the MCP endpoint.

An MCP-capable client can initialize a connection, discover current tools with tools/list, and call them with tools/call. All eleven advertised tools are read-only. Retrieve the live tool schemas before choosing arguments. Client account eligibility and permissions still apply.
